Keep It Movin' (To The K.I.M.)
February has been such a busy month for me personally, which explains the brief disruption in service. Between birthdays, step shows, Valentine's Day, and comeback speeches...I've been on the go.
As we close out Black History Month, let us remember Brother El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, better known as Malcolm X. The 21st was the 40th Anniversary of his death by assassination at the Audubon Ballroom in Harlem.
Just for the record, Black History Month falls during the shortest month of the year because it was started as Negro History Week by historian Carter G. Woodson to coincide with Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass' birthdays.
Know history know you.
No history no you.
